How is Medical Coding Exam Assessed?

The Medical coding exam which is also known as CPC exam is an MCQ based Test.

Candidates need to score overall 70% in order to pass the test. There are standard questions based on all the topics of CPC books such as CPD, CPT and HCPCS.
The coding exam is based on a Clinical scenario and candidates are to select one answer for each given question. It is an open-book exam where you can take the help of AMA published books to mark the correct answers from the given options.
