CEPA-English

CEPA-English tests basic English proficiency and was developed in 2002. Since then around 17,000 grade 12 Emirati students take the tests each year for admission into English foundation programmes at any of the three federal institutions of higher Education in UAE. The Exams are administered in Paper-based (with scanned answer sheets) and Computer-based formats. This two hour test and includes 110 multiple choice questions and one essay question. Course Modules

Exam Structure

Grammar & Vocabulary(45 minutes)

45 Grammar related MCQs and 40 vocabulary related MCQs.

Reading (45 minutes)

Three texts with a total of 25 MCQs.

Writing (30 minutes)

Essay tasks of between 150 and 200 words.
